Design Process
Start with the end in mind.
.01 initial COnsultation
After sign-up, uploading your documents and paying the retainer we schedule our initial consultation. We will meet via Google Chat to fully discuss your project. In this meeting we will review your plans, design inspiration, budget, home pictures and goals for the space. The meeting will take 1 hour and it is best if all decision-makers are present.
.02 Design development
After our initial initial consultation your design is underway. In this phase space planning is explored and 2 design concepts are developed. Sample products and finishes will be selected to be presented and discussed in our next meeting, the concept presentation. After the concept presentation you provide feedback and we narrow down to the final design and floor plan. If you choose to go to 3D, I then submit your project to the 3D team for an estimate.
.03 Design Presentation
In the design presentation we will review final designs, elevations and floor plans. All products will be specified. After the presentation you provide feedback for any final adjustments to the design. It is advised to visit showrooms and order samples to better get a feel for the products being recommended.
.04 Design finalization
Final adjustments to your design take place with the feedback provided. Final package may include conceptual drawings, final presentation, 3D renderings and specifications to fully describe your project to your contractor.
